The Back Cove 29 captures the classic Downeast look with modern performance. Her spoon

bow, sloped transom, and Hard Top create a profile that stands out in any harbor, while the

deep-V hull, prop recess, and trim tabs deliver a smooth, confident ride. Powered by a 315hp

Yanmar diesel, she cruises at 20 knots and reaches 24 knots, with easy close-quarters handling

thanks to the standard bow thruster.

Below, the cabin is warm and inviting with American Cherry joinery, teak-and-holly sole, and

varnished ash accents. The galley includes an alcohol/electric cooktop, microwave,

under-counter fridge, stainless sink, and ample storage. The salon offers excellent ventilation, a

beautifully crafted cherry table, and a large convertible berth nearly seven feet long, with 6’3” of

headroom. The enclosed head features a fiberglass liner, fresh-water-flush MSD, macerator,

solid-surface countertop, and shower-capable faucet.

At the helm, fully adjustable seats and excellent sightlines make operation a pleasure, with space

for full navigation electronics. On deck, molded non-skid, protective bulwarks, anchor roller, and

a functional swim platform highlight Back Cove’s focus on safety and usability. The L-shaped

settee with storage and ice chest enhances comfort, while the open cockpit is ready for fishing or

optional seating. Engine access is outstanding, with thoughtful layout and standard features

including a bow thruster and dripless shaft seal.
