Introducing the new special logo that has been developed for the series of Sabre models larger than 54 feet that will be built in Rockland, Maine. Dirigo is the Maine state motto and it translates from Latin to mean “we lead”. The line below the word SABRE is from the lines plan of the ship Virginia which was the first ship built in Maine in 1640 by the Popham Colony in the village of Phippsburg on the Kennebec River.

The Sabre 66 project is advancing rapidly. The drawing shows you what can be accomplished in a design that measures 67’10” on it’s molded length and 18’1” on the beam. The 66 offers large oen and airy spaces throughout. Note the full beam master stateroom below the main salon and the raised centerline helm. Her interior joinery is a new design combining weight saving foam coring with our traditional American cherry finish for which Sabre is so well known.

Keep tracking the 66 with us. It’s just another reason we love being a Sabre Dealer! We invite you to follow along here and on our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram!
